212Ixtepec Balneario Balnearios are private "swim parks" that are popular with partying Mexican families. We camped at this one in southern Oaxaca state. The clear cool water bubbles up from a spring and runs out to form a river.

244Blue Agave near Tequila, Jalisco state. This is what they use for tequila! Most tequila comes from this beautiful valley just west of Guadalajara.
245A Small Tequilary Amatiitan, Jalisco. We visited this great little producer of "Santa Rosia" tequila. The agave roots are roasted and shredded to obtain the juice, which is then fermented, distilled and aged.
